James' 2nd birthday party was a blast. We started the celebrations on his actual birthday - Thursday, October 9th. He had one of his favorite dinners - chicken fingers - and then opened his presents. The trains were a big hit. His actual birthday part was on Saturday with friends and family. We set up a Sesame Street bouncy and played lots of t-ball. The weather was wonderful and the 5 boys; Connor (1 years old), James (2 years old), Roman (3 years old), Brett (4 years old), and Christian (6 years old) played nicely together. McKenzie (3 1/2 months old) was her usual angel self. Brian made homemade manicotti (homemade right down to the sauce) and flank steak...or was it skirt steak? Either way it was delicious. We had cupcakes in the dark for a nice dose of sugar before bed. It was a great party! I'll try to post some video too.

Pumkin Picking in New Jersey

We had a wonderful Saturday morning pumpkin picking with Babci and PopPop. Apparently neither of them had ever been apple or pumpkin picking in their lives. Hard to believe! Anywaym James was not exactly excited about the hay ride at first, but as you can see he loved the pumpkins.

The Jersey Shore 2008

Even with a four year age difference, James and Christian had a blast together.

Anyone think James is going to have a problem with a sibling? After seeing his reaction when Mommy held McKenzie I have no doubt he will be a little jealous.

The Delaney family enjoying fun, sun, and sand once again this year. Man we love that house!

Our God Daughter

Brian and I were asked to be McKenzie's God Parents and we couldn't be happier. As we learned at the shore, she is an absolute angel!! I think I heard her cry five times all week - at most. She sleeps good, eats good, is happy being held or left alone. I decided if James had been this good we'd already have another one.
